Webber surprised by qualifying gaps

Mark Webber said he was surprised to see such a big gap from Mercedes and Red Bull to the rest of the field in qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix. The top four are covered by just 0.3s, with Mercedes locking out the front row and the two Red Bulls on row two. However, Kimi Raikkonen in fifth was almost 0.7s behind Webber who said he was expecting a closer battle for the first two rows but doesn't expect it to be relevant in Sunday's race. "I was surprised that us four were pretty tight on time, obviously a couple of tenths between all four of us and then a big step back," Webber said. "But that will mean nothing in the race."
