Mercedes eyeing Vettel to replace Hamilton?
Lewis Hamilton may have to prove his worth at Mercedes after rumours emerged that the German manufacturer was seeking to sign Sebastian Vettel in the future. Speculation has led to believe that the triple world champion could replace Nico Rosberg, who was announced to have signed a multi-year Mercedes contract late in 2011. Hamilton has signed a three-year deal with Mercedes starting 2013 and the Briton firmly believes that his new team will not be possibly looking to replace him already, to field a full German line-up. “I’m not doing too badly, so I doubt they will be replacing me,” Hamilton was quoted saying by The Telegraph. “It doesn’t affect me in the...
